Practice the “The 7 Modes of the Major Scale“ with Backing Tracks

Practice following the colors (same color first):Modal Scales

Template fretboard The 7 Modes Keyboard PRINTABLE 

 

F Backing Track (Time: 120 b/m)
Practice all the Modes as portrayed in the fretboard image. Starting from F, first fret on the E Chord

 

Am Backing Track (Time: 120 b/m)
Practice the A Eolian Mode (starting from A, the 5th fret on the E chord), and continue with all the Modes as portrayed in the fretboard image.

 

G7 Backing Track (Time: 120 b/m)
Practice the G Mixolydian Mode (starting from G, the 3th fret on the E chord), and continue with all the Modes as portrayed in the fretboard image.

Here are 7 Modes summarized in a easy scheme to practice and remember.  If you want to play A Ionian (A Major Scale) for example, find A on the lowest string and play. With these shapes you don’t need the fretboard in background.
